I’m dusting off the blog for the first time in over a year!
While I used to spend a full day editing pictures and videos and writing blog posts, my life looks different now. I’m going to limit this effort to 30 minutes so that I can hit the saddle of my mountain bike before the sun breaks the pine-lined horizon out my office window. Deal?
I’m writing about this week’s adventure, which includes a trip to Austin, Texas for Paleo f(x).
I’ve heard about the gathering for a half-decade, but I’ve never been.
I’ve read the books of most of the keynote speakers; Wolf, Sisson, Kresser, Devaney, et al…
I’ve scoped the cookbooks of many of the influencers; Gaudreau, Tam, The Other Wolfe, Sanfilippo, etc…
I’ve considered going for years, but it simply hasn’t been in the cards. This year, things are different. I’m heading there to promote a culmination of 37 years of work in the form of Ice Age Meals.
I’ve also been given the opportunity to host a Culinary Crash Course. It will take place on Sunday from 12:10-1:05pm in the Mitochondrial Rescue Classroom Workshop. Click here to register for the workshop.
A lot of “I’ves” going on. I warn my kids about “I-itis”, which is a disease where every sentence out of your mouth starts with “I”, but I’ve never heard of “I’ve-itis”. Anyhow…
We’ve got The Other Paleo Nick flying in from Minneapolis, King James Foster flying in from St. Louis, and Paleo Jonny and I coming in from Reno. We’ll have 33 meals on display along with all kinds of Ice Age Meals swag.
If you’re in the area, please stop by and say hello. We are one of the outdoor booths. If you are attending the conference, please sign up for my workshop.
Whether you make it to Austin or not, I trust you’ll do your best to…
“Keep It Paleo!”
(Beating the sun to a morning of fun… Barely.)
